Stuart Sailfish Club Summer Sailfish Tournament

The Stuart Sailfish Club’s Summer Sailfish Tournament is a fun, mid-year event that brings together members, local boats, and visiting anglers for a weekend of offshore fishing and camaraderie. With categories for billfish releases, meatfish, and both junior and lady anglers, it’s an inclusive tournament designed to showcase skill, sportsmanship, and the spirit of summer fishing in Stuart.

Tournament Description

The Stuart Sailfish Club proudly presents the Summer Sailfish Tournament, a mid-year favorite that blends exciting offshore action with community tradition. Designed to welcome both longtime members and new faces, the event offers a spirited competition and a chance to celebrate sportfishing in the Sailfish Capital of the World.

The weekend kicks off with a Captain’s Meeting on Friday, June 20th at 7:00 PM (registration begins at 4:00 PM) at the Stuart Sailfish Club. On Saturday, June 21st, boats may clear the inlet at 5:00 AM, with lines in at 7:00 AM and lines out at 3:00 PM. Weigh-ins take place at the Sailfish Marina of Stuart from 3:00–5:00 PM, followed by an awards celebration at 6:00 PM back at the Club.

Anglers will compete for prizes in multiple categories, including:

  • Heaviest Overall Meatfish (mahi, blackfin or yellowfin tuna, wahoo, kingfish, cobia)
  • Top Lady Angler
  • Top Junior Angler
  • Overall Billfish Release Points

With cash awards, trophies, and bragging rights on the line, the Summer Sailfish Tournament is the perfect way to spend a summer weekend on the water.
