We’re Hiring: Director of Events & Member Relations + 2026 Board of Directors

The Stuart Sailfish Club has always been driven by the dedication of its members, leaders, and volunteers. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, we’re excited to share two opportunities for those interested in playing a more active role in the Club: the hiring of a Director of Events & Member Relations and the upcoming selection process for the 2026 Board of Directors.
Both roles offer a meaningful way to contribute to the traditions, events, and community that define the Stuart Sailfish Club—on land and on the water.
Director of Events & Member Relations
The Director of Events & Member Relations serves as the steward of the Club’s community, traditions, and signature experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing all Club events and cultivating strong, meaningful relationships with members—ensuring every interaction reflects the values, history, and camaraderie that define the Club.
From premier events and social gatherings to member communications and engagement initiatives, the Director of Events & Member Relations manages the full lifecycle of Club programming. This position plays a critical role in strengthening member retention, welcoming new members into the Club, and creating events that feel intentional, well-run, and true to the spirit of the Club.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all Club events, meetings, and social functions
- Support the Club’s tournament director and manage Tournament ancillary events
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members, fostering long-term relationships and a strong sense of community
- Manage membership communications, onboarding, renewals, and engagement efforts
- Collaborate with the Board, committees, sponsors, and partners to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences
- Oversee event logistics, timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination
- Support membership growth while maintaining the Club’s traditions, standards, and culture
- Represent the Club professionally within the local community and broader sportfishing industry

2026 Board of Directors
The Club’s Board of Directors is renewed and voted on each year, ensuring fresh perspectives while honoring the traditions and values that have defined the Stuart Sailfish Club for generations. We invite members who are passionate, committed to the Club’s mission, and eager to contribute their time and expertise, to apply for consideration for the upcoming Board term.
